Weddings are like the perfect mixture of anxiety, excitement, joy and exhaustion. Through all of these emotions, my hope is that you stay as Beautifully Stress Free as possible and all the love shines through! Amy Deters Events specializes in an assortment of services ranging from Wedding Management (month of coordination) to proposal planning. While we love all events big and small, we specialize in all things wedding. 

We are comprised of one wedding creative and a few assistants who are eager to hear about your wedding and plan it based on your needs. Our wedding services are built to cater to every type of couple. The only catch is that you must be a couple who loves to have fun, is open minded, creative, and wants to enjoy their big day!

Wedding Management (formerly day of coordination)

This package is my jam! (and most popular) Wedding Management (formerly known as “day of coordination”) covers your essential needs for an elegant yet simple celebration. This package is perfect for budget-minded couples that are only looking for the essential services and vendors.

Includes 2 in person planning meetings to work with you to learn about the details, flow, and feel that you want to create during your ceremony and reception and unlimited email and voxer communication. I will coordinate these details into your wedding details and timeline. I will manage and assist in running your rehearsal the night before your wedding, coordinate/run the ceremony on the day of and coordinate the reception to ensure that everything flows smoothly from start to finish.

Reception Set-up

  • 1 Meeting
  • I will collect items to be set up prior to wedding day such as: cake set, pictures, toasting flutes, favors, candles, menus, escort cards, etc
  • Up to 4 hours of set up of the reception site
  • Set up of all reception decor not handled by a specific vendor
  • Manage vendor set-up of reception and make sure all commitments are fulfilled

Reception Tear Down/Clean Up

  • Planner will arrive at the conclusion of the event
  • Planner will remove linens from tables
  • Planner will pack up centerpieces
  • Planner will assist with packing up remaining cake to give to couple or designated person
  • Planner will collect and pack up the toasting flutes, cake topper, cake set, etc
  • Planner will drop off rentals

Rehearsal/Ceremony Management

  • 1 Planner/Client meeting (1 hour) – discuss “day of” details and review contracts 6 weeks prior to wedding
  • Manage the wedding rehearsal – 1 hour
  • Create wedding timeline/diagram
  • Manage wedding rehearsal (1 hour)
  • Manage the flow and timing of the ceremony
  • Distribute bouquets and pin flowers on attendants
  • Greet vendors and oversee set-up of ceremony to make sure all commitments are fulfilled
  • Set-up of all ceremony decor not handled by a specific vendor (i.e. guest signing item, unity item, programs, pictures, etc)
  • Direct ushers/attendants with program and seating distribution
  • Line up and cue wedding party for ceremony
  • Ensure that the marriage license is signed and wedding rings are present

Cocktail/Reception Management

  • 1 Planner/Client meeting (1 hour) – discuss “day of” details and review contracts 6 weeks prior to wedding
  • Construction of reception itinerary
  • Reception itinerary will be sent to all wedding professionals and wedding party
  • Transfer items from ceremony to reception
  • Finish set up of reception (light candles, set up last minute decor)
  • Bustle wedding gown if needed
  • Line up couple and wedding party for grand entrance
  • Assist band/DJ in cueing important events (entrance, dances, cake cutting, etc)
  • Maintain and coordinate timeline for all events during reception
  • Stay in communication with venue/caterer to ensure things are running smoothly
  • Planner will leave after all formalities

Al a Carte Services

Services can be added to any package or contracted as a stand alone service

  • Timeline Creation
  • Budget Creation and management
  • Wedding Consulting
  • Wedding Starter Service (there is no planning or management in this service)
    • 4 hours (used as both parties are available) of in-person/zoom meetings to get to know your needs/vision for wedding so I can recommend vendors based on style/personality/budget.
    • Answering any design questions
    • Cost saving tips/recommendations
    • Vendor referrals based on personality and budget

Consultation times are scheduled in advance in 1 hour blocks. The consultations can be completed in person, over the phone, or video chat.
